193rd RHA Annual Exhibition

Delighted to say I have had a piece of my sculpture accepted for the 193rd RHA Annual Exhibition which is celebrating its 200th Anniversary this year. It is indeed an honour to have my work shown in such a beautiful gallery with work from artists I respect and admire.

“Molecular Black Star” 2023 This Piece started out being about blood cells and molecules which are so tiny but have such a major impact on our lives, for good and for bad. If you look closely you can see the different red and white blood cells but as i was assembling the work over a couple of weeks i listened to David Bowies BlackStar Album and I began to see the work through slightly different eyes, I could see the micro and the macro. The molecules and the galaxy. This work has become for me now about Life, Death and the universe.

Hope people enjoy seeing the work on exhibition until 30th July at The RHA Gallery Dublin.
