195th Royal Hibernian Academy Annual Open 2025

The RHA Annual Exhibition is now open. I am extremely grateful to be a part of it again this year. I have to pieces selected this year,

“In Spiralling Dream Flowers” a free hanging sculptural work and “Fragile Earth” a wall mounted porcelain piece. Both works reflect my interest in the inherent fragility of porcelain. It mirrors the tension between delicacy and resilience. This tension is also found in nature. The smaller sculptures create a dna spiral created using cells the building blocks of life. Dream flowers form and rotate slowly around, drawing you in.

Fragile Earth is flowers, plants, foliage, even earth, all textures, all forming to create a unity, a fragile mother earth, shinning in the light.
