Dunlaoghaire Rathdown Council purchase my work for their County Collection

I had a busy few days and it finished off on a high yesterday with the opening of “Lucid Dreaming” The Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Biennial Open exhibition at The Municipal Gallery recently. I was really delighted to have my sculpture “Iridescence” purchased by the Council for The County Collection of Dun Laoghaire Rathdown, it’s a great honour for me and my work.
The exhibition was Officially opened by The Lord Mayor of Dun Laoghaire Mr Jim Gildea. We had a lovely speech by the Curator and selector of the exhibition Mr Davey Moor, thanks to Davey for selecting my work.

“Iridescence” (41 x 22 x 12cm) porcelain sculpture with pearl glazing purchased for the DLR County Collection.

“Cumulus Dreams” My wall based porcelain work also included in the exhibition.

Many Thanks to the team at DLR Arts for all they do for artists in the county. I highly recommend a visit to the Municipal Gallery it runs until 15th February 2026.
